For those who have bedroom TVs in a swing-out compartment above the clothes-washer..... beware!
My TV is in a cabinet above the washer. It is hinged on the in-board side in order to allow it to swing out for viewing while in bed.
Two days ago, as I rounded a rather sharp turn to the right, the catch holding my TV gave way, allowing the TV to swing out towards the bed. It ripped loose from the cabinet, bounced on the bed, into the aft closet mirror door.
Needless to say, the cabinet needs repair and mirror door needs replacing. Don't know the status of the TV...... the sad part about this is that we are not TV watchers and have NEVER even had this TV on to watch in bed!!
Country Coach parts tells me they can get the mirror door. Their service Dept. has arranged with a Eugene, OR RV service to make the repairs.... so it looks like we're on the road to having everything fixed.
The learning here is ...... check that latch that holds this TV cabinet in place. Make extra certain it is secure!!!

I have the same problem in my '04 Inspire. Haven't lost the TV yet but the latch doesn't hold at all. Getting ready to take the TV and convert to shelving or something more useful for us.
