The CCs that have the newer 7 lead trailer plugs have wiring (to the plug) that controls electric brakes. Has anyone connected an electric brake controller, like a Prodigy, to their coach? I'm looking at a toad dolly with electric brakes and want to know how I am going to control them.
Thanks.

honing in on that elusive CC...soon, I hope.

our 2000 Magna has a Tekonsha Sentinel wired into the coach and connected to the 7 lead trailer plug in the rear. We are not the original owners, so I can't say if the wiring was original to the coach; but it appears so.

When I bought my used unit, it had a Prodigy controller (one of the reasons I bought it, because I really liked that controller when pulling my previous 5th wheel). When I picked up the unit, the Prodigy was gone (conflicting and unbelievable stories). Rest assured, they replaced it before I completed the deal.

I had to pay extra to have my 2006 Magna wired for a trailer brake. All the wires were under thr dash for me to wire in the controller. They won't install it, just wire for it. On my 2003 Magna I wired it utilizating one of the 4 extra wires that run from under the dash to the rear of the coach. It wasn't a big job except to find a wire under the dash for the brake lights.
