I'm looking for an rv resort in the Fort Myers area to stay for a month next winter. I would like to find a place on the beach. Anyone know of a place?

We stayed at Gulf Waters a couple of years ago. it is very close to Ft Myers Beach and Sanibel (but not one the beach - don't know of any that hit that target).
That's the best part. Sites are not huge, but "sardine factor" is not as bad as some. There are several lakes which make good views. We got a lot or motorcycle noise from adjacent roads and when the wind was right foul odors from adjacent treatment plant. I know they were trying to sell the lots and a lot of people were buying. Don't know how many rentals might still be available, but I would bet there are some.

Cypress Woods is a lot nicer, but it is all the way out at I-75; not very convenient to the beach.

If you want a couple of nice parks, go on down to Naples and check out Silver Lakes or Pelican Lake an go to beach on Marco.

That's my 2 cent worth!!
