When plugged into shore power battery 1 is only getting charged. When I run the motor it says I am charging both just fine. I have checked the two fuses in the battery compartment and i checked with a meter at the batteries. When tried to check it with the generator it does not charge bat 2 but I get error code 3 on both bat 1 and 2. In the manual it says overheat condition is code 3. It will do that for a few minutes then cycle back on only charging bat 1 this does not happen on shore power. So I have 2 problems I need to check out. Any ideals where to start looking?

The quick of it is that your inverter charges your house batteries (Batts 1). You need to have an Echo Charger to charge your chassis batteries (Batts 2). Is your coach equipped with one??? It should be in the same compartment as your inverter. It will not charge the chassis batteries until the house are charged. Your battery boost solenoid ties both house and chassis batteries together while your engine is running, that is why your panel shows a charge condition on both batteries.
