Anyone done Laughlin in the summer? I am being requested to meet some friends there next week, but the temp scare me...geesh 111 to 115f. Can my coach stand it?
Maybe I need to go straight East from Junction City and keep a cool head on my shoulders?

We've done Havasu in the summer with a coach with basement air and huge windows. So I bet the CC's do better with the 3 AC's on top.
Have sun screens on, shades and curtains drawn and you might do ok.
With our previous brand of RV we had the regular RV refer. It never shut off. We took off the access panel outside, put a fan on a ladder and kept air flowing (altho' hot) over the coils. When outside don't touch the door handles unless you have a towel or something in your hand. It will be like opening the oven door 24/7. It can be done, but there is a reason we head north!
Good luck!

Sue, thanks..we've since rerouted to avoid Laughlin. It was 114 yesterday. We're headed to Zion instead...I just love being retired.

Yep retirement is great! It is like adding 5 days to your weekends! Enjoy Zion...it is beautiful. It will be hot there during the day, but you should get some relief at night.
