I'm here in JC getting leaking slides repaired on 2001 Intrigue Suite of Dreams #11320. The factory techs are telling us that the repair they have done has cured the leak in 100% of the coaches they've done it on. Has that been your experience? Let me know if you have had factory repairs done and if they have cured your leaking slides.
Thanks. (By the way, it's sunny here all this week, so no way to really see if they are repaired...that'll happen once we head south probably, but I'd like to find out before!) Jan McNeill

Jan,

I can't help you with the fix that CC is applying to your coach but would be very interested in hearing if it works. I have a 2002 Suite of Dreams and my bed room and living room slide show evidence of a little leakage.... wet carpet at the corner of the LR slide and a puddle in the "catch" tray of the BR slide. That's while parked in my driveway with the slides retracted. This worries me. I just discovered it and haven't even contacted CC yet.

My point.... please let me (and the forum) know how you make out.

I had a leaky slide on my 2000 Intrigue which Integrity in Dallas worked on three times. After they said they had " completely redone the seal" I experienced the worst leaking ever. I got mad, called Junction City and told them I was on my way. Fully expecting they would give me a hard time about having no appointment, I was stunned when they told me to come ahead. They took my coach right in and pulled the slide way out past the wall of the coach snd installed all new seals. That completely solved the slide leaks. Those people know what they're doing.

YOU CAN SEE IF THEY ARE REPAIRED PROPERLY BY USING A HOSE.

I am considering the purchase of a CC. Does anybody have any idea the % of rigs that are having a problem with the leaky slides?

Don't worry about leaky slides..we're unusual from my experience.
(We're supposed to get it back this afternoon with all leaks fixed..they do stand by it!)The coaches are terrific...especially the new 2003's! (I'm drooling)...one tour of the Monaco facility and the CC facility and you'll see the difference in quality of the coach.
If you're looking for a coach for fulltiming, the CC's have more storage from what I researched...at least the Intrigue Suite of Dreams had more storage capacity than any other coach of comparable quality. We love it.

I have been to several CC rallys and that has not come up as a major topic of discussion in any of the sessions I have attended. While I am sure that it has happened to some, I do not believe that it is any type of a significant problem with the design nor manufacture of the coach.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply that it was a problem that many were having...just that IF you had a problem with a leak, did the factory repair work. I know not many are having any problems but of those that do, I hear of repeated repairs, mostly done by "other" shops. They do believe they've solved the problem now. Passed the hose test, but we've passed that before and then found in rain it leaked.

Nobody else is here in JC with leaky slides, by the way, for those kibbitzing and got the wrong impression from my query.
