I am a little confused as to why you cannot seal those rivets. If you disconnect the spring props, this will give you a better look at the top edge of the compartment door?? You should be able to seal those rivets, ending the water infiltration. I know the rivets are caulked on the underside of my Intrigue, I had to redo a few.

Hi Jim and Fred, Could you please include your coach type and serial number.
As you can see I have a 2000 Intrigue. Have not had the problem you describe, but this may be because my doors are a later model then yours?
On mine, the pop rivets were well sealed on the inside of the door by the manufacturer. Tomorrow I will check the hidden side.
I have one minor leak on one bay but do not believe it is through the hinge.
The problem with my doors are the lousy latch arrangement where some latches do not seem to catch behind the striker plate. This is absolutely the worst part of my coach.

If the Intrigue owners have a water leak in their compartments while parked, this was the fix for my coach: The fiberglass cap that runs the length of both sides (cap that has "Intrigue" logo on it)have two seams. These seams have to be sealed. I taped both sides of the seam and used clear GE silicone.I have a slight leak in the washbay compartment. I can see where my seal that I applied has a break on the top, I will have to reapply. Water gets into that cap and will find its way into a compartment.
