Need some help in locating where to purchase a temperature sensor, have coach number 10636, with an 8.3 325hp Cummins engine. The coach is a 98 Intrigue. Talked with Cummins, they said it was an add on from Country Coach. Does anyone know where I could look for this sensor or possibly a temperature gauge. The coach gauge goes from 0 to 180 degrees and stays there no matter what. It never goes above 180 degrees no matter what the weather. I was told that it was either the sensor or the gauge. I'm going to try to go with the sensor first. Any help would be appreciated. Jim

If all else fails locally, call this company and explain what you have. I was having trouble finding an oil switch/sensor for my 2000 Intrigue.
This company took the time to figure out what the switch/sensor was and found a replacement. I emailed them a picture of it and they new exactly what it was. They had it to me the next day. 1-800-999-6632.

We had an intermittent problem with our temp gauge and I didn't like the max temp (220), coach ran at 200 to 210 and the needle was always almost to the max. Changed it to a max 280. Bought the sensor and the gauge at Precision Speed Industries, Phoenix, AZ.

This is a matched 280 F deg gauge and sensor, normal temp the needle is in the center of the meter.
Note: There are 2 sensors on the block, make sure you get the correct one.

Thanks for all the help on the sensor. We'll try to order them. Its nice to have such informative owners of RVs that have or know of potential problems. By the way, how do you know if you have 2 sensors and where are they? Which sensor is the "ONE"? Thanks in advance, Jim

Try adding an additional ground wire to the gauge to a new ground point on steer column or chassis. This corrected the problem when I exper. the same.

I responded in kind to another post about door locks. I guarentee its a broken wire in the main wire that connects the house to the door. It is an 18 conductor (not guage, look at your electrical schematic for your door) wire that touches a great deal of things. Compass / temp being one of them....It is a VERY hard to find problem since the break in the wire typically occurs within the sheating of the wire....My coach had (and is having again) this issue and so did 4 other coaches that my old dealer worked on once we found in my coach...
