Re: 1998 Intrigue 40'
Does anyone have know who the manufacturer is and also the part number for the Heater Booster Pump located in the engine bay. This pump circulates coolant from the engine to the front dash heater core. My pump is leaking, are there rebuild kits available for these pumps and I'm also in need of the 2 rubber elbow hoses which come of the booster pump ??

Country coach part number pump is 13710 hoses are part number 13719
The hoses are from NAPA auto parts are 3/4" X 1" 90 degree preformed. I don't have the NAPA numbers.
I suggest you also replace the front pump also as they both run all when ever your ign key is on.
These pumps are very common for replacement and I heard that CC has began using a different pump with a better motor and seal.

Al,
I just ordered the rear pump from CC and they are still using the same part number #13710. Do you know the part numbers of the front pump and any of the hoses needed with its replacement ??. I'll will check and let you know if the my new replacement pump is an improved updated model.

Not rebuildable.
When my heater booster pump (rear one) failed, I started to chase this down. Mine was a Bergstrom and they are out of business. CC Service had a replacement for $217 but advised that I should be able to find the pump locally in any RV store. Told to ask for a 12V "MP circulation pump" since their current pump is supplied by MP Products. Just match up the inlet/outlet since there are variations.
Before looking locally, I found a Bergstrom on eBay and got it for $25 plus shipping - from Canada. There were a few for sale and I got one with the exact same inlet/outlet setup just by looking at the pictures.
Because there is also a front pump near the front axle, I have yet to actually install the new pump. I had replaced the rear pump with a short length of pipe to stop the leakage and have been running like that for almost a year. Doesn't seem to affect the ability of the underdash heater at all. Plan to wait until the next time I replace the coolant to replace the pump.

Mike,
I think I found the correct pump on Ebay as you suggested. The seller is in Canada and the price now is $39.00 which is still better than the $192.56 I paid today to CC. I'm going to buy this Canadian MP pump to replace the front pump.
Thanks
Paul

Country Coach is where I ordered the pumps. Front and rear pumps are the same part number.
I also ordered the hoses because of that 3/4-1"odd size on each end and the 90 deg. When the hoses arrived with the pump, the hoses were re-numbered from NAPA to CC part numbers. The NAPA tag was still on the hose. Probably just a phone call to CC parts... have the parts person pull the hose and give you the NAPA number.
One last suggestion, put a table spoon of liquid soap & water inside the pump on installation. That will protect the seal until it gets primed with coolant.

Paul,
At the rally in Charleston, I spoke with one of the techs that was replacing one of these pumps on another coach. He said there is a new and improved version of the pump that is being used now. Country coach parts should have the info and the parts availability.

Has anyone got a part number on the MP pump that CC is currently using? Not the CC part #, but the actual MP part #.

Kevin,
The MP Pump number is #28987 (CC #13710) The 2 hoses are identical, the NAPA number is #8078 (CC #13719)

I found the pump available on e-bay. After one of mine went south, and I paid CC over $150 for a replacement. I then found one on e- bay. I've now a spare in the coach in case I lose another one.
check this item on e-bay: 200038395739
Fifty something dollars (after paying shipping) is considerably less costly than buying the pump from anyone else.
