Is it by any chance a Panasonic VA707? If so, there's a setup manual in the files section of this group and a Users Guide on the web at http://panasonic.com.au/content/library/files/F001433.pdf (http://panasonic.com.au/content/library/files/F001433.pdf) --

We have one. Ours is teh CQ-VA70EU. In our case, the rear camera has gone belly-up. Finding a replacement has been a nightmare. The damned thing has a convex case that fits into a specially cut hole in the rear fiberglass. The coach currently has a wad of duct tape covering the hole while I'm out trying to find a suitable camera to replace the one that is non-operative.
Panasonic denies any knowledge of the camera or control unit. It has the Panasonic name prominently displayed on both the in-dash unit as well as the back-up camera. Needless to say, I'm quite furious with Panasonic. I'd like to know who to complain to, but they (Panasonic) seem completely uninterested in helping.
I'm currently seeking to find a replacement camera that might at least be able to send signals to the in-dash unit. Panasonic apparently outfitted these devices with non-standard plugs. So, finding something that can be wired into the system is all that I can do.
As for the operating instructions. We have a copy. If you'll cover the kinko costs and mailing, I'd be happy to send you what we have.
Including the front and back cover, there are 44 pages.
If anyone can point me towards a suitable camera, I'd be most appreciative.
Thanks
