We've been unable to get our KVH LM (which is now also called the L2) to find the satellite...it just goes and goes and goes. When I checked the KVH website they indicated this is a problem because of the DirecTV new satellite and I need to unplug the KVH and our Sony receiver and they will 'reset themselves.'. I know where to unplug the receiver, but haven't a clue as to where the actual KVH is plugged in. Can anyone give me a clue?
OR, is there someone in the JC to Albany area who does mobile servicing of these units?
Thanks..

I am not sure of the process since ours works fine, but perhaps they mean to remove the antenna telephone cord plug from the low speed data port on the Sony receiver and also unplug the power cord of the sony receiver. Then reassemble.

It might be easier to turn the breaker off than to access the plug for the satellite or the receiver or just remove ac from the coach.

Jan,
When we have a problem with our satellite dish or DirecTV we just unplug the coach to shut the power off and that will reset the sat.
