After reading all the good advice about waste water tank smell, I know there are a lot of other tips and tricks everyone uses that others would like to know about , including me. I will start it with this:
This weekend whilst dry camping , we were parked next to a bounder and its owner is an, owner operator of a 18 wheeler. He told me 2 things that I will always remember
1) Check your tires the morning after you arrive at your camp site, If you picked up a nail on your way, you will know it after the tires have sat all night, and now you have plenty of time to get it fixed. Don't wait until you are ready to leave two or more days later to check the air pressure. He recommended using the hammer test.
2) Carry an assortment of sheet metal screws, if you get a leak,
screw it into the hole, and air it up with your air hose which I know we all carry, and you can limp your way into a repair station.
He may not know too much as he was only 69 and 1/2 , and has 40+ years of owner operator experience. His wife said he would really like to have owner coach and its 400.
