Hi,
I was wondering if any one might be able to help me with a decision. I wanted to find out if anyone is towing a 2007 Cadillac Escalade all wheel drive or a 2007 GMC Denali all wheel drive.

Evelyn, I tow an 03 Escalade AWD and was considering an 07 and was told they can not be modified to tow.

On the Denali, you need to make sure that the transmission/transfer case can be shifted into Neutral. 4X4 Tahoes (Yukon, Envoy), Surburbans and Trail Blazers can be towed.
I have a 2003 Chev Silverado 4X4 which I tow 4 down. My truck has the controls to be shifted into neutral (a red light somes on after holding the 2H and 4L buttons for 10 seconds, then shift to reverse for one second and drive for one second)
If the AWD cannot be shifted into "transfer case neutral", most likely the vehicle cannot be towed without adding a transmission pump.
I checked into the Jeep Liberty Diesel. It only comes in AWD, which cannot be towed. The Gas version comes in 4X4 (meaning you normally drive in 2WD and can be placed in Neutral). The 4X4 can be towed.

Evelyn, I have installed a Remco lube pump on my 03 Escalade and it works great. I was told that you can not set up the 07's to tow but you may want to phone Remco and ask them but I was under the impression it was something to do with the car not Remco.
