Has anyone ever take their 40+ foot motorhome and towed car from Interstate 70 down Utah SR128 to Moab. It is listed as a scenic byway and it follows the Colorado River.

Thanks for any input in advance

Made the run (128 Moab to US 70) about 5 years ago in a 40 ft Foretravel dragging a Grand Cherokee Limited.
Pretty drive--no problems. Only problem was finding a space big enough for Foretravel in Moab, and manuevering the rig and tow in Moab.

They should have finished resurfacing the road by now. In early Sept. we had to drive 35mph for about 15 miles. The road south of Moab is in need of a little help, but none are as bad as California concrete roads.

There are several places now that can handle the rigs. We stayed at the Spanish Trail RV and it was fine. We drove through a couple of others that were nice, too.

We stayed at Arch View RV Park on the north end of Moab, no problem with a 40 footer.

I have not been on 128, but this summer we came down 191. Took a several other back roads while going to Zion, Bryce, Arches, and Moab. Driving through Zion with the switchbacks and the tunnel was a bit stressful. The tunnel is 13'1" in the center! The bus is 12'8". Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!
