All,
We need recommendations on an extended warranty to purchase. Any suggestions? Sincerely,
Reese

Reese, some of us, like me, will suggest you put the money that would go to the Warranty Company in the bank and save it for the repair event(s).

I have had ACC for four years without a problem. Buying direct from them and you receive dealer pricing. I have never been without one, it give you peace of mind, if you loose an engine it is a smal price to pay. I have used as much in repairs as what I paid for it.

My service provider was/is not familiar with ACC so I did not go there.

We have a policy with Phoenix America. In two and a half years they have covered much more than the five year policy cost. Premier Motor Coach Services (PMCS) in Tucson has had good luck getting paid.
A substantial part of the policy cost is profit made by the agent you buy it from. PMCS now offers policies from two different companies and their profit margin is very small compared to what I paid the dealer when I purchased my CC. Joe at PMCS says the policies they carry pay very well. If you're shopping, give Joe a call at 520-624-2024. I would be interested in what you find out.

Read the fine print, TWICE.
Consider paying the fee into your own savings account.
Think about who should decide the proper method of repair or replace.
Look into a very clear crystal ball and compare the actual cost of repairs during the period you will be covered with the cost of the policy.
I keep paying Good Sam CRS and cursing them every time I have a claim.
If I had payed my own savings account instead I would be thousands ahead. I would have made different decisions on how to fix some things, Replace the left air bag but not the right for example. I had to pay for the right bag.
Think TWICE. only you can decide.

Jerry:
You have mentioned this source several times. I have asked you twice just what "dealer pricing" means in this case. You have never answered me. Is there an answer or is it just promotional sales jargon with no real discount numbers attached. What is it? 30% off? What does it mean.

Holland M H talked me into a $7,500.00 Extended Warranty which didn't pay for the real big problems, just the small stuff. I would NEVER buy one again. I would just put that money in the bank. Bob '02 magna 6028

We purchased our ACC warranty at a CCI regional show. They have been terrific to work with and the price was very fair.
Their contract is straight forward and easy to understand. The are a supporter of CCI and attend many of there events. They have an interest in being good to CC owners.

We just left the CCI rally in Urbanna, VA. We had a talk with the rep from ACC Warranty. Seemed pretty straight forward. Anyone have any experience with ACC? Thanks

They are very knowledgeable about our coaches and about what fails and about what recalls we should be taking advantage of. But they won't pay for Aluminum radiator repairs/ or Cummin's lift pump replacements. They feel Cummins should make available the necessary replacement O-rings as they have in the past and won't now. So you have to pay for a new Pump. Other wise they have helped me with quite a few issues, Hydro- Hot, Hunter toilet, Injection pump, etc. They paid for my hotel rooms while the radiator was replaced and RV park while waiting for parts. They payed for quick shipping of parts and helped me find parts that were not covered. If you start with them when your coach is young, they will cover you out to 15 years TWI 2004 intrigue 11731

Steve Burgess, President of ACC Warranty Group (attending the CCI Bethpage Rally) reported on the top 9 most often overlooked coach maintenance items. You'll find these in the October CCI eNews, coming out in a few days.

Roger,
We had the Good Sam ESP and it didn't cover the HWH when it went due to the location of the synchronizer being too close to the turbos. Premier RV worked hard trying to get them to cover it.
