While we're on the subject-

what is typical engine coolant temp for a C-9 while traveling? My C-9 runs quite often to 204 deg then the fan kicks in and drops it to 180.
As some of you know I got caught replacing my radiator, with no help from CC, while in Alaska.
I read engine stats directly from the engine computer .
Are these temps typical?
Thank you

Jim

The temps you are seeing are about right. Cat says the normal range is 190 to 205.
The fan controller on your coach is controlled by the engine ECM, so the temps you are seeing is really accurate, The ECM gets it's data from the Cat supplied water temp, intake pressure and temp sensors. ---

The temps are typical depending on the engine load. 205 is the high end.
