We had great, prompt service from Comfort RV Specialty out of Fontana, CA. Their number is 909-350-3560 They were very professional and went out of their way to help us. They specialize in Aqua-Hot and Hydro- Hot heating systems.

They came from Temecula to Borrego Springs on the same day we called, to repair an on going Hydo-Hot problem.

The red warning light for low fluid level is on and the unit will not fire up. The boiler is full to the top. How to reset or correct? Any suggestions?

Yes, the tank low level sensor is defective, need to jump it out. Replace the old sensor with the new designed sensor. The old sensor is plastic. Go to the hydro hot site for an explanation. I just finished installind the new one myself.

How do you jump it? The web site I get to www.vehiclesys.com, offers no explanation on replacing or jumping.

Bob

To jump the low fluid sensor, just remove the two wires from the float switch and connect them with a spade fuse. You could also clip them together with a pair of alligator clips, but the former is safer.
You might also try pressing in the reset button which is marked on the electronic panel. Use a pen to reach the contact.

Good luck.

pdf file from Joe shows how to bypass the float switch at the control board. Hydro-Hot working and next is to make a proper fix with a new float switch. Nice to have hot water on New Years Day! Thanks to all.

The fluid is made by Camco Manufacturing Co. 800-334-2004 Ext. 231. It is called Boiler Antifreeze -100. You may order it from them. It is not carried by all Camping Worlds.

I can not locate the group, did the survey, but your group identification seems to be missing something.

The correct URL for the Hydronic Heating group is: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/HydronicRVHeating (http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/HydronicRVHeating)
Hope this helps.
