I too have an 05 Inspire and with a foggy drivers window. The problem was visable to an educated eye from almost day one. That window was never as clear as the others. I purchased the coach from Lazydays and have had it serviced many times. Nobody ever indicated there was a problem. After 1 1/2 years, it became very apparent there was a serious problem. Lazydays checked with CC and they submitted the claim to SeGi which was denyed twice. After many calls with no help, I submitted a claim to the NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (888-327-4236). They checked and there were no complaints against CC. I suggest everyone with a problem call a submit a claim. The NHTSA is processing the claim and starting an investigation which will take about three weeks.

Please advise the process of filing a claim with NHTSA. I have in my records the names and coach numbers of approx. 50 owners that have experienced the creeping seals on SiGi windows.
While I am a strong supporter of Country Coach, I feel they have not demanded that their supplier step up to this problem and unfortunately a NHTSA recall might encourage them to respond appropriately.

I would also like to know the process. We have two creeping seals (snaking?). When I asked CC they said sorry.

We also have one "snaking" window on our 2002 Allure. At the Jekyll Island rally we asked a tech about the problem and he gave us detailed instructions on how to replace the window - ourselves. We would be interested in how to join the group complaint with NHSTA.

Did they provide you with any choices on where to get the windows and if there were other manufacturers that produce or will produce replacement window? Was there any discussion regards approximate costs?

The Tech who looked at our window at the rally said that Country Coach could supply the replacement window, but he gave no indication of cost. However, this Tech was from the dealer in Louisiana, not from the factory.

To file a complaint, call NHSTA's toll free number 888-327-4236 and give them some basic information: vin number, make, model, year, mileage and a general description of the problems. It only takes about 10 minutes. If we get enough people calling, there could be a basis for a national recall. Country Coach has been purchasing inferior glass from CeGi and allowing all those coaches on the road for years. This is a potentially for hazardous driving to everyone on the road.

I just bought a replace ment for the drivers window in my 2004 Allure.
Cost of the window was $250 and shipping was $150. Had it installed at Jekyl Island so labor was free and well done.

I had to replace all the windows in my '98 Trek, same window manufacturer, but traded the coach soon after. Don't know if the replacement windows got a case of reptile-itis or not but suspect they did as my present coach is a 2002 Intrigue and the seal on one window has started to creep. Cannot understand why CC or any other manfacturer would use a product with such a long history of problems.
