You had better run the "Windows Vista Advisor" program and heed all that it shows or you will be in Microsoft hell. Many of your current programs will not run under Vista. I speak from recent experience going on for about 6 weeks and I am still in hell. Microsoft for their own reasons has written Vista in some new file format which excludes competitors to their Office products including Quickbooks 2006, Corel Wordperfect, Palm Treo 700p, the Media Center keyboard etc. Additionally, they have gone over the line with internet security and you will be weeks trying to figure out how to be minimally interrupted every time you open a web page. Otherwise I love Microsoft for their ability to hype an upgrade which adds little to the fun of computing.

Hi Folks,

They went beyond reason.

Windows Vista can't play high definition from Bluray or HD media.
Great protection for Hollywood by their dictating chip content and board layout for video and audio protection but nothing for malware and credit card protection. We have met the enemy and it is Windows Vista - read this for details.
