Jim
I've seen more of these from this forum than all of the others combined. It is the Klez virus and works on its own. I will look at and find an email address on your computer or someone elses computer steal a name and send it to you. It will, at times, even send you an email from you to you. It is a real pain in the a** and is getting worse. About the only thing you can do is be darn sure that you have a good virus detector and keep it updated weekly at a minimum.
Personally, I don't have emails sent to me, but go online with yahoo and read them all there. At least that way, if I don't get stupid ande open the attachment, I don't get the virus.

I do not get emails from any of my Yahoo groups, I sign on to read them. It is fast and helps me control the volume of email, since I get a ton anyway.
It is not just this site, my Norton 2002 is catching about 5 to 8 virus email per day. If you are on any groups or get email from friends you could get it.
One of our computer guys at work suggested putting a dummy email address in you book. It must be the first address, mine is something like "a a test". It should have a fake address, mine is 0000. If an virus hits your machine, the sort of virus that sends email to you whole address book, this address would fail. You will get a notifiction and then you know a virus has hit your email.
That way you at least won't be sending more out. Just a thought.

Hi Linda,
Would you please correct your typos and be more specific about your approach.
Thanks,

Fred,
I didn't see any typos. The odd letters are what I used, if that is it. What part would you like me to be more specific on?

I wouldn't worry about that post. It was perfectly clear. You stated what you wanted to and as far as my particular experience and knowledge is concerned, you were correct in what you said.
It appears that Fred may not have a good understanding of your subject. :-))
