I just joined the group and found a few of my answers to my problems. I have a 2002 36 foot Intrigue. So far it has been great and I love to drive it. My black water rinse is plugged and I hope to use your suggestions. Since the engine uses polypropylene as a coolant because of the hurricane heating system, I found it difficult to find a product to use. Pennzoil which CC uses is only available in 55 gallon drums. I called Cummins and they have the product (Compleat) in one gallons bottles. Cummins said they have an ingredient that is important for the cooling system, therefore I think it is the only product I should use. Any comments?

Our black water "flusher" plugged on our 2001 Intrigue also, however I found the with a higher pressure outlet at home it opened itself and and has worked fine since. I do remember several responses to this same thread some months ago on this group. Good luck.

When our black water rinse was plugged it was because we had not used it for every flush and sewer material had dried in the jets. We had to take it apart and clean the jets. Pat---

Hi Grap67,
For Cummins engines, only Compleat shoud be used - it has 2 additives to lubicrate the wet cylinder sleeves.
If you add more than 1 gal of any other antifreeze, the coolant system must be drained. And it becomes a warranty issue. Read the Cummins book carefully. You can purchase an indicator pad to read 3 values to monitor the level of the additives in Compleat. Also the water filter (4 units of DCA) should be changed with the oil filter which supplies a replenishment of the additives. See page 5-14 of the ops and maint manual.

Pat,
Where did you gain access to the jets? Where exactly are they located? Mine are not clogged, but seem partially blocked.
