Just came back from a short trip (700 miles) and this time we made sure the GMC Denali a/c was set for maximum/recycling. Then I ran the a/c for a minute or so as we were setting the 4wd to neutral.
This made sure the air damper motor valves were in the proper mode.
When we arrived and drove the car....no odor of buring rubber inside. I think it was due to the fact that even with the car not running you normally have your fresh air dampers set to open many times and the odor is just blown into the car sitting so close to the motorhome. Try it yourself the next time.
