I recently purchased an 03 CC-Lexa and my wife and I are enjoying it very much. I understand this model has had its share of mechanical/electrical issues. It would be helpful for me to learn more about the Lexa issues so to know maybe what to expect. Thanks in advance for any stories you might care to share. Randy, CC03Lexa6195

Randy,
The Lexa was over engineered, some people at CC call it "engineering gone ary", I'm not sure what they mean by that but I will give you someone's example. The dash on that coach could have been made in just a few pieces but it was built in 56 or so pieces. The main problem I heard about was overheating in the engine compartment, it was to closed in. The first 2 that came across country had smoke in the rear bed rooms, I was told that one of the professional drivers actually drove the coach till he could not see anymore to drive from the smoke. I guess you call him a professional driver. Of course all this is info I have picked up at rallies, Don't know how true it is. Have not heard of any recent problems, the bugs have worked their way out. In some ways I regret not buying a LEXA when we purchased our 05 Magna, we were offered one but I listened to all the rumors and turned it down. It had a good price tag. Have fun, I think you purchased a great coach.
