Fritz,

My wife and I just returned from a 7 month 15,000 mile trip that included 2 months in Alaska. If you have some questions you can post here or E-mail me off line. Many on this CC group have gone to Alaska and can help answer questions. It is a trip that everyone should make at least once. Just take plenty of time and money.

This is a link to the Rving in Alaska Forum on Woodalls.com. I followed this Forum for about a month before making the trip and all my questions were addressed by reading the posts.

The following is a link to a post on the same Woodalls forum made by one of the people that went to Alaska. It is very detailed with many pictures and will cover just about everything you can do and see. It is the best recap I have seen about traveling to Alaska.

I hope the links come thru correctly.

We made the trip from our homme in Florida in 2005. We spent 6 months on the road and was in Alaska and Canada May-Sep. Not sure what model and year coach you have, but can offer some tips on what I did to protect my coach and be prepared for any breakdowns. I had some great mentors who had made several trips that I learned from.
Even though I was well prepared, I had no breakdowns or damage during the entire trip. Feel free to contact me off line for any details and I can pass you a phone number.
