The front dash Heatercraft exchanger that thumped, rattled and roared and provided very little heat, has been replaced with a HydroHot unit that provides better heat output and is quiet.
The Heatercraft unit under the galley cooktop has been replaced with a HydroHot unit and is at least 70% guieter, though they are both rated the same 8,000 BTUs. There is a size difference, though. The HydroHot is smaller and the galley space allows enough room to install a second unit side by side. By choosing to install two units under the galley, the living area of the coach will heat nicely even in zero degree weather, in which we find ourselves periodically.
