The Entry Handle Light on our '01 Intrigue stopped functioning. I've checked my owner's manual and find no reference of the handle light, any fuse location or how to replace a bulb.
Has anybody experienced and fixed such a faliure?? Thanks

Not sur eif your coach is same as my Allure. I just recently replaced my handle and when I took off the upper bracket for the handle, the light bulb was underneath. It is a small bayonet 12vdc bulb.

The light bulb is in the top half of the handle. Remove the screws and it will become obvious. It's an easy fix compared to the "new" style.
Simply takes a small push in bulb.

You can order the replacement bulb directly from here:
http://www.itc-marine.com/handles.html (http://www.itc-marine.com/handles.html)
You will need to call them to order, as the bulb is not listed on their website.

Rob,
Not sure if there was a change from 2001 to 2002 but my entry handle light bulb is one that can be found in any auto parts store. Nothing special. I do know in 2005 there is a marked difference (helped a friend with his 2005 Magna the other day). In 2005 it was no longer a "simple" bulb.

Michael,
It must have changed with my year. The bulb is an LED assembly with a resistor soldered on top. I'm pretty sure it's not a stock type auto bulb.
I could be wrong, but when I ordered it, the parts guy said that he doesn't know of any other sources. I believe it was around $12 to $15. Mine lasted almost six years, so I guess that's pretty good.

Rob,
Your right, what you describe is the same I saw in the 2005 Magna.
My 2001 has a standard bulb. Sounds like the break is 2001/2002.

Lee. The bulb is inside the handle casing. Remove the attaching screw and the bulb is exposed. (At least in my Intrigue) Larry Hanson
