The paint on our door has blisters and deterioration of the paint surface. Yesterday I received from CC the repair kit. A sheet of luan with complicated instructions about removing the door, removing the damaged surface and repainting after new installation. I know from their response that this is not a problem inique to me. If you are out there and have a similar problem please let me know how it was handled, what it cost. Thank you, Pat Cutter,. Andover, NH

We also have blisters etc. and, apart from Buddy Gregg sending photographs of it to CC last fall, nothing has been done about it. But this is just one of eight or ten similar weight problems with the vehicle and we just do not have time to horse with it all. Best to get your wheel really squeaking if you want some action and have the time to chase it down!

I have talked to CC about the problem and they told me they had a fix. I have not gotten the repair kit yet. I would also be curious about how hard it was to do and what it cost.
In talking to them, I know they were trying to get new doors made to fix the problem and they just had too much trouble with the manufacturer.

Thanks.

CC replaced the door at their cost @ local CC dealer (Beggs Motorhomes Uniontown, Ohio). I believe was done after the one year warranty.

Mr Cutter,

I have a 98 CC with a pock marked door which CC said they would replace but

they have made an excuse that the door is not yet available. I believe that is now

2 years and I still have no door. I read some of these emails and am amazed at how gullible some of us are. CC has a director of customer services that has a PHD in kissing your royal behind and giving you nothing.

Pat,

I had a '98 Intrigue with the same problem on the door soon after delivery.
CC replaced the door under warrantee so I can help you with costs. I know this isn't much help to you at this point but I did want to let you know that the problem is not new or unique.

Good luck!
