My inverter is not taking over when the shore power goes off. I have the inverter enabled but the light is not on the panel. When the power comes back on the inverter says disabled and I go in and enable it but when power goes off it still doesn't work. I posted to general forum with class a motorhomes and they suggested that it might be "Based on the information you have provided, gut feel says the inverter circuit breaker has activated. Depending on the brand of inverter and how it was mounted in the coach this breaker can be a very small button and in a very, very hard to get to location. If you have documentation try to locate the inverter internal breaker. It may take getting into some awkward positions, but it is there. Consider asking this question in the Country Coach Owners forum on iRV2. I'll bet another coach owner has the same coach as you and has the same problem." Anybody have any ideas?

Dennis,
I have coach 12054 with the Xantrex RS3000 inverter installed. The reset button is on the front and easy to access. Picture attached. I would check all wiring that includes the data cable. (telephone looking wire). Also the electrical fuse box in the coach. Make sure the neutral, ground and black wires are tight. If you need further assistance you may contact me off line.

We have an '06 Intrigue #11964. Had to replace one Xantrex and within about a year and a half had problems again. Replaced with a larger Magnum inverter and haven't had a hiccup in over 2 years.

Thanks for all the replies. I tightened the connections behind the panel on the inverter which fixed the problem. Also, the plug in for shore power wasn't completely plugged in and "Line 1" wasn't making connection. Apparently the clothes dryer is on "Line 2" and it was still making connection. We had some bad winds here in Las Vegas and I guess the vibrations wiggled the shore power loose. Thanks again.

For those interested parties I have just accepted a deposit on the Xantrex Inverter and RC7GS controller previously posted. I appreciate all your inquiries and will keep you advised if something goes awry on the deal.
