I know this subject has been cussed and discussed many times, but I don't find a file on it. I have been told by a local tire dealer that my 12's should be replaced with 315's. I seem to remember 295's as the replacement, but he tells me they would reduce height by 3 inches. I also seem to remember that the 315's would be too close together on the duals. I'm not going to replace the Toyos yet, but need to get a price to use in negotiations for sale of my coach. Any help will be appreciated.

Walt, Several of our Country Coach Texans have changed to the Michelin 12R 22.5 XZ2. It is Michelin's Item #73659. It is 42.4" diameter versus the Toyo 42.6", not enough to worry about. The Michelin width is 11.2" versus Toyo 11.6". The compound used in this fairly new Michelin gives a much better ride and handling and improved milage even though it is slightly narrower than the Toyo.
I hear several people have gone to the 295 80R but it 41.3" diameter and 11.8" width.

I've never heard of anyone going to the 315, it requires 13.8 min dual spacing.....for sure check with CC Engineering first.

Any questions let me know..
