Title: 350 ISC shift points.

I have the 350 ISC and the shift point into top gear is just under 55 MPH.
When not towing this is not a problem as I usually run at 60 - 65 where legal.
However; when I tow my 4200# van I like to conform to towing law and drive at 55. When doing this under some road/driving conditions and not in cruise mode it seems that I get more down shifting than warranted.
I know I could start towing at 58 and avoid the problem, but was wondering whether anyone else has experienced this and whether anyone has had the shift points re programmed?

Thanks.

David and Karen,

I have noticed the same issues when I run certain speeds & in hilly areas. I too have found that the cruise mode will help in eliminating the shifting. I have also found putting the trans in economy mode also reduces the shifting.

Hope this helps............Steve Intrigue #10673
