Last week I had Brazel's Automotive in Olmpia, WA do some suspension upgrades to my Gillig chassis and '95 Intrigue. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT!
Previously, I felt that I needed both hands on the wheel in cross winds and rutted highways. Driving faster than 65 MPH also meant that coach would "move" about the roadway an uncomfortable amount. We added:
4 KONI Adjustables shocks
Motion Control Units on all the air bags SAFE-T-STEER mechanism
All the parts can be found at: http://www.supersteersuperstop.com/ (http://www.supersteersuperstop.com/) This is the parts business for Henderson's Lineup service in Grants Pass. They have an excellent reputation for fixing NEW and OLD motorhomes' suspension. Brazel's automotive here is a reseller of their products and does good installation work and service work on the Cummins engine.
This weekend I went down to Portland, towing my Wrangler TOAD. 70 MPH, one handed steering, and a DREAM in the heavy cross winds we encounted on Saturday evening. I had NO IDEA that the ride could improve THIS MUCH!
