The AquaHot web site has a service locator that lists a number of CA locations. Also check with Roger Berke on his Hydronic Heating Yahoo Group as he possibly has some recommendations to add. If you have an AquaHot product it is a group well worth joining and as all Yahoo Groups it is free,

Thanks Don, it isn't a aqua hot issue but a thermostat "communication" type issue. The aqua hot works fine.

Hi Scott,

Try Mike Semple ... He is considered the best tech out here in the desert ... His number is: 541-292-8052. Everyone here in Indio uses him ... a heck of a nice guy but it sometimes hard to get him because he is usually very busy ...

I have used Mike to repair my furnace problem last year. He works out of ODR Cathedral City through the winter. I thought he was very good and reasonable.

Sorry Scott, you said you had furnaces issues. I had a similar problem a few years back. I have a 5 button thermostat but only two zones. The bedroom zone would not work but none of the functions appeared on the thermostat for zone 2. I could not run AC, Heat Pump or the heat exchangers in the bedroom. Zone 1 worked fine and did appear on the thermostat.
I had quite a time finding the problem. I started with the connection to the thermostat. OK. I checked the connections on the telephone wire up in the front AC accessed from inside the coach. Finally I went to the rear AC and when I touched the wiring bundle it started. Take my figure off and it quit. The butt connector connecting the wiring from the front had literally no pins in it. They all had corroded off. How it ran when I touched it amazed me. Replaced the butt connector and been fine ever since.
Usually when something fails to appear on the thermostat it is somewhere in the telephone communication wiring. A controller in the front AC arbitrates the digital signal from the thermostat and send the appropriate commands to each unit.

Hi Rick, Mike is gone until the 15th.
We are in the resort as well, lot 61. By any chance, do you have a telescoping ladder that is tall enough so you can get on your roof? We carry a ladder but it isnt that tall. I am not sure if you are even here, we need to borrow one so we can take a look at our fuses in the roof air.

I don't ... but check with what we call the "bumble bee" RV washers (they are in yellow shirts) ... they are in the park right now and they have a bunch of ladders to get on the roof ...
