Slide Seal Source

Yahoo Message Number: 63370
I've been through the search function, but can't seem to find a source for the outer rubber seals for my galley slide. I want to replace the top, sides and bottom.
The Bedroom slide has rolled the bottom sweep rubber in two places and I assume the little metal fasteners are gone. I'm going to try to glue it back and need some advise on how to get a little space to work, sticking it in with my finger just isn't working.

Thanks,
Tom

Thanks Mike, Kevin is helping me out. The bottom seal is the one with the little steel teeth and sounds like it's hard to find and expensive, but Kevin did find some for me. Jacking up the slide and replacing is going to be a challenge.

Don't try to jack up the slide - raise the coach slightly, put solid support under the slide, and drop the side of the coach just a little. Same effect as raising the slide, but much easier.

Jim,

I would have no problem jacking the entire slide, I have the equipment, but Kevin cautioned me against doing that and said to jack one side at a time. Must be a reason, but I didn't ask. Your idea of just dropping the air bags a little sounds reasonable and maybe Kevin will jump in here.
