beep coming from dash

Yahoo Message Number: 63635
Getting ready to go on a month long trip, started coach yesterday to move it and there is a random beep coming from dash, sounds like blinker. I have no faults or anything not working, beep is random with no pattern, turning headlights on did not stop it but slowed it down. i talked to a guy yesterday that had heard of this problem before but at this point, he doesn't have a fix. Any help greatly appreciated

Mitch,

We had this happen to us on our Inspire after we got new tires and Smarttire installed at Les Schwab in Junction City. They thought they knocked a wire and actually called an old CC tech to come and fix it. It ended up totally unrelated to their work even though they insisted on fixing it for us. Rob runs a Great organization! We learned from the tech that there is a safety feature built into the CC lighting for the chassis that if you have a bad connection it will sound an alarm. It actually makes one of the blinker buzzers make noise but quieter than if you had your turn signal on. They fixed ours by tracking down the headlight, taillight and side marker wiring to see where the problem was. The tech saw we had the recall side markers installed and checked those first - oops - a connection was starting to loosen. He cut the wires and replaced the connection and we were in business. We drove away for 5 miles and it came back. We went back and he found another loose connection. We had been on some rough roads through the bay area and it was starting to cause us a problem. He redid the connection and we have been good since. I would recommend you check all the blinker and light bulbs first. If good it will be the wiring. You will have a connection that has loosened and it's a matter of finding it. Ours wasn't to hard to work on since there is space under the front end and back end and the wiring is easily reached. After you find it make sure the wires are supported so they don't jiggle when you go down the road. Hope the long explanation helps and let me know if it helps. Feel free to contact me offline if you need to.

Don't know any thing about the below information. However our 2008 allure #31619 had the same issue. Change the millage meter to a different input, like trip #1 or trip #2 and our beep went away. Never has been back, been 2 years since. What is your coach number? Let me know if this worked for you....?
