RV Resorts in Tucson, Arizona

Yahoo Message Number: 73229
I am going to stay in Tucson Arizona for several days visiting family and I was wondering what are the nicer resorts there.
I remember staying at the Beaudry RV Resort at the CC Rally but I believe that is not closed now.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You might check with Lazy Daze as they bought both park and business. They are suppose to be re-opening the RV park.

We received a notice in the mail this week that said Lazy Daze will be opening the Tucson RV Resort in September. We drove by in June and the signs were already up. Our park preference in Tucson, however, is the Voyager (more convenient, more to offer -- IMHO).

The info that I received from Lazy Days said that they would be opening on September 1st. Call 800-306-4067 for more information.

We stay at Desert Pueblo west of I19 on Ajo. Gated, big lots, landscaped. Last I checked it was less expensive than Voyager. There is another park, Rincon West on Mission between Ajo and Irvington. There is also a Rincon East and there is another RV Park, Cactus country, north of I10 on Houghton Rd. Several others to google, Prince of Tucson, west of I10 on Prince Rd and then just down the road is Tratel. There are several more, let me know if your interested.

Do not go to Rincon East. The sites are very hard to maneuver a big rig into. We are 40 foot and had an argument with a palm tree when we were leaving our site.

Do NOT stay at Rincon East. The sites, while large enough once you get in are very hard to maneuver into and out of. The access road is just not wide enough to allow for proper turning to back in and then to come out. When we left our site (overnight stay) this winter, we had an argument with a palm tree when we were pulling out.
