Heated Mirrors

According to the information I have for our coach we are supposed to have heated outside mirrors. I can't find the switch for them. Are the heaters on a built in thermostat or what? I try to stay out of climates that would require heated mirrors but I do want to be prepared just in case.
I also have a switch on the left hand drivers panel marked idle speed adjustment. I don't think it does anything. The switch that says it is for the raising or lowering of the throttle pedal operates the settings on the Jake brake.

Your heated mirrors are always on with the ignition. I know if there is a thermostat associated with the mirrors anywhere but I don't recall seeing one in my schematics.
The idle speed adjustment works when the coach is in neutral, the parking brake is set and the high speed idle is not set. Each depression of the forward side of the rocker switch will increase idle speed by 50 or so RPMS. Touching the rear end of the rocker will decrease idle speed in the same way. This device will control low idle from about 600RPM to 800 RPM.
I understand your point about the engine brake switch but I think you are misinterpreting the graphic. It is an icon of a brake pedal thus indicating it controls the auxiliary brake. I don't think the '04s offered adjustable pedals.

My idle adjust works when the coach is in or out of gear.. As much as I like to set the idle at 600 rpm so I don't have to stand on the brakes at a light, the Sauer Danfoss Hydraulic pump requires me to idle at 700 rpm to keep the Power steering functioning effortlessly as I navigate sharp turns in hilly terrain, without fighting the steering wheel or getting hissing and squealing noises from under neath my feet as I drive. CC installed 2 replacement pumps, replaced some hoses and took the steering linkage apart, etc. All to no avail. CC even took all new components off the assembly line and installed them to get the same performance. So, 700 rpm for me. I can fast idle up to 1050 rpm with my idle switch.

On my Magna, I installed a switch in the compartment under the seat that disabled the mirror heat. That same circuit kept the two circulation pumps running anytime the ignition was on, which made no sense. You could just pull the fuse if you didn't need either the pumps or mirror heat.

Sometimes I set the E brake when stopped at a traffic light so I don't have to "stand" on the brake. Leaving it in D and merely releasing the E brake when it's time to go.
