Silver Leaf and Rear Surround system

Yahoo Message Number: 80003

Since we are getting ready to go on our "Trip of a Lifetime"?. We have only had the coach since November of last year, I have lots and lots to learn about it. For those who have the "SilverLeaf Electronics"? how long did it take you to understand it? There are so, so many screens to look at and remember and there are even "HIDDEN"? screens that can be looked at.
Since we purchased the CC used, you get what you get and all you can do is upgrade what you have or try to improve it. Under the "SCAN MODE"? if it is registering "0"? or no reading at all, did you take it off of the "SCAN"? list or just leave it on. I see on mine that I had some fault codes more than 4 years ago and nothing recent. Is there any reason to leave these on? I would like to start with a fresh screen, so as to absolutely tell if anything is amiss with the system. So, would it hurt to take these old fault(s) off? I guess my last question for you (right now) that have the surround system in the bedroom. How do you turn it on? I have looked for a button in the bedroom, but unable to find one. I tried to work with the TV for it, but nothing. I have tried to getting it working from the front electronic, but nothing... I'm going to post it here and IRV2, in an effort to get as many great opinions as possible.
Thanks,

Dave

Dave, I have an 07 Intrigue so it is possible your electronics are the same or similar to ours.
You did not say whether you have the SilverLeaf owners manuals. If not go to the SilverLeaf website and find the free download of manuals. Get the Silverleaf Seminar while you're at it. It's a good read and you'll learn a lot.
For the SilverLeaf Scan mode, you have a choice of which functions (there are a couple dozen) to view. You can view as many as you want. The manual will guide you to the location to chose which ones to view.
If you have a DVD, and satellite receiver in the bedroom, the audio is controlled through the DVD. Turn the DVD on and set the input to Audio 1. Also you have to scroll through the TV Inputs, there should be an Input switch on your TV to get to the right sources(s).
If my suggestions are mostly right and our electronics match, feel free to email me if you have other questions.

Dave,

I removed non reporting data points from the scan on Silverleaf.

I also delete old, unhelpful codes as you describe them.

Good luck
