CCO Monthly Newsletter

Nine regional Country Coach clubs and the two international Country Coach clubs were invited to contribute to a monthly newsletter the Country-Coach-Owners Yahoo Group would post. We realize that the clubs usually have their own websites, but this consolidated newsletter will allow them to quickly identify "happenings" and pointers for you to their events.

We had input this month from three clubs:

CCFI, a fast-growing international chapter of the FMCA with a scope encompassing the United States, Canada and Mexico, is accepting members and welcomes owners of all brands of motorcoaches into membership and into its rallies. For outstanding rally fun, how about joining Country Coach Friends Inc. at the Fall Rally at Hearthside Grove RV Resort in Petoskey Michigan, September 16-21. Hosts George & Josie Shallbetter have been a part of the Country Coach owners family for decades and they're seasoned pros when it comes to putting on a party! We're looking forward to a Keweenaw Excursion cocktail cruise on Lake Michigan, followed by an optional dinner at a nearby restaurant, as well as an optional ferry trip to Mackinac Island with lunch at the Grand Hotel. In the resort you will enjoy breakfast every morning with wonderful evening meals and an open fire pig roast the final evening at the pool and two nights of local onsite entertainment. This is a first class resort that we'll want to linger on at. And we have CCFI members coming to Michigan from the west so we may need to stop by Kerrville to enjoy some Texas hospitality. RALLY PROGRAM. Enjoy great catered food, lots of social time, entertainment, lots of dancing and laughs. Meals will include 3 full and 1 continental breakfast, 4 dinners including The Great American Cookout, and 4 social hours including beverages.
FREE TIME. The Rally Program schedule, over 4 days, will allow you to attend up to 6 shows of your choice in Branson (show tickets not included in the Rally fee).
WEATHER. Early October is a great time to be in Branson. The Fall weather typically is mild, with temperatures in the 70s during the day and 50s at night. Branson will be hopping, with folks who travel in the fall making their way to this live music capital.
