Onan audible beeps right after successful start?

On our way to key west, twice when/after starting Onan 8kw (KDKAK) generator I heard some beeping up on the inverter Control panel but never could determine what it was. I tried shutting down and restarting but Couldn't duplicate it. Both times it was on cold starts. The beeping session lasted about 5 seconds. The generator perfrms as advertised. Anyone experience this issue? TIA
