Coolant Return Hose Test

Hi,

We had really high winds here yesterday then cold air blew in so I just got the last of the hose installed before slamming the lid on things. My hat kept blowing off in 60-70 MPH gusts. Completed installation photo is here:

We have an 8 hour trip coming up next week so I'll be able to do a proper road test then. Hopefully we don't come coasting to the side of the road with a BIG puddle visible from the rear view mirror. Post trip report will follow.

Best - Scott

Dave,

I store my tow hitch, safety cables and trailer wire in the engine compartment. The bungee cord is holding up the hitch away from the alternator pulley. We're a little tight on space and I don't like leaving the hitch out to the weather. The engine compartment locks and is dry. Works perfect and it's close to where it needs to be installed. Stays for us are usually 4-8 months in one place. Take care.
