Tire Time (sorry if this is a dupe)

My biggest fear cruising in our RV is a blowout. We've lost some folks to that. So I replaced my old Goodyear's with Yokohama 104zr tires. They were fresh out of the factory (date code).
Yes, probably a long haul truck/bus tire, but extra casing protection, deep tread and less rolling resistance. Certainly not as soft as some of the others, but I have had personal experience with Michelins, dry rot within three years, and the factory's denial of claims. And regardless of the new Toyo work, I was just not comfortable with them, and our Goodyears wore terribly.
So they all have their patrons, and in the big scheme of things, I suspect all are good by our modern standards and regulations. But Michelins are my last choice. Disclaimer: I live in a very dry climate.
