Where to find hings for smoked lexan enterainment cabinet cover

Has anyone replaced a broken hinge on the lexan cover which covers the space were your vhs/ dvd player and power antenna is located. I have a 1998 affinity 40 ft. Cabinet doors have this hinge, but the ones I need bolt through the lexan were there are two holes, then open and close like a normal cabinet door would. Thanks john

When I replaced all that stuff for components of my own choosing I needed extra depth. So I took the lexan off and the original hinges. I had a new lid made which had a piece of 1 X .5 at the pivoting end and installed a piano hinge

I've had good luck with Rockler for hinges, drawer slides and things of that nature. Check out their web pages for what you need, maybe you can find something there that will work for you. I have no affiliation with them, but have had good success finding the parts I needed.

Hi John, I wanted to make a door to cover the TV cabinet (Moved the TV elsewhere). I found the exact hinge that was used for the entertainment cabinet. I'll double check with them tomorrow with my order number and see if this is the right hinge.

Thanks for the info, I may end up doing the same thing, once I decide which entertainment system to use. I'm thinking about disregarding the bose lifestyle 5 and upgrading to a new system, I'm trying to figure what component would replace the bose on the credenza cabinet behind the driver seat, thinking maybe even a play station?

I got rid of the Bose system too. There seems to be a big demand for these older systems on Ebay. Parted mine out for about $400-$500.
