A question about wandering (again) Steer Safe or Track Bar?

Just got back from spring break in Florida. A nice road, say such as I-65 in Alabama with little to no big truck ruts, drives great. One hand on the wheel very little fidgeting. Move on to a crap road like I-65 here in my home state of Indiana with deep big truck ruts and I am white knuckle all the way. Feels like I need to adjust all the time to keep her straight.

Replaced the shocks and have new 275R80 tires.

Anybody have any experience with:

A device called a panhard rod can often provide substantial relief to wheel tracking problems. A panhard rod locks the leaf spring stack in place laterally, preventing axle side play. Steer Safe or True Track Bar

Just had the "Steer Safe" installed, main reason was blowout safety. Steering feels more solid. Helps a bunch on keeping you straight due to road irregularities. May help a little in the wind but not too noticeable. Had it installed at the factory in Deming NM.

Ordered the Steer Safe and will install this weekend. If nothing else its a feelgood in case a blowout! Also tightened up the steering just a little.

Installed Steer Safe last weekend and lowered front tire air pressure a bit. Noticed greatly improved steering. Much less wiggle from a passing big rig and overall better driving experience.
Wife drove for about 30 minutes and felt more confident. That was a big deal I have always wanted her to take over for an hour on long drives.

When I changed tires from 275R70 to 275R80 in 2000 on my 98 Allure 36' with kitchen slide the handling improved and I could lower the tire pressures 10 to 15 lbs as I remember. Swaying from 3/4 trailing winds and cross winds was much reduced. It wasn't a perfect solution and I'm glad to hear of your solution. As I now have a coach with a Tag and IFS and no longer have Toyos the handling is almost perfect. I have no adverse tire wear which is a big improvement over the Toyos. Its a shame the Michelins only lasted 3 and 2/3 years. Hoping the Continentals will last longer. TWI 204 Intrigue 11731
