Lighting upgrade

Upset with fog lights on 2006 Allure found replacement Hella bulbs 894 T-3 with 37.5 watts versus the stock 27 watts. Also upgraded headlights with Phillips 9007 X-Treme Power Headlight bulb. Per the advertising the Phillips are 80% brighter; per the reviews 30-40% brighter.

The bulbs are plug and play and very easy to get at and change. The Hella 894 is a replacement for the 881 which came in the fog light and cost about $9.00 each. The Phillips is the same 9007 bulb and cost $29.00 for a two pack. All from Amazon. The higher output bulbs burn hotter and do have a somewhat reduced hour life but for the amount of night time driving I don't consider that an issue.

The current light intensity and quality is terrible, any performance improvement will be appreciated.
