passenger side Bedroom Slide

We are at Fort Stevens just outside Astoria. We are in the middle of a strong coast storm, 40 to 50 mile winds and 4 to 6 inches of rain. We are safe at the KOA. We have been pulling the slides in when the winds really start and get up to 20 MPH. It is late evening and all slides retracted except the bedroom passenger side. Does anyone have a recommendation for a mobile service technician in this area? Any thoughts would be appreciated?

Is you slide mechanism a HWH and is there power to the slide. I was gone for a couple of weeks and when I returned my passenger side bedroom slide would not go out although I could head it trying. I re-leveled and it worked.

Monty, you can manually slide the room until you can get someone to look at it. If you do so be sure to make a temporary load lock so the room wont slide while the motorhome is moving. I had the same thing happen on my 04 Inspire.

Monty,

As other mine did this also. With mine the HWH system kept saying that the coach was not level enough for the system to be active. I could not get the yellow light to come on the panel where I activate the slide. what I ended up doing was unscrewing the HWH panel in front by the driver and unplug the panel from the wires where it connects. I then shut down the entire coach.... House Batteries & Main system.... waited about 1 minute and plugged the panel back in, and turned on all the batteries. all came back on as normal and the slide worked as it should. Was told that things get a little glitch in the system and you just need to get it to shut down and then power it all back on. Good Luck and let us know how it get fixed.

Try Mobile West RV Repair in Long Beach WA. 360-929-7721. Got one good review on www.rvservicereviews.com On our '04 Allure we found some wires loose where the slide motor connected. Found it on both slides. Also, there is a breaker fuse that goes bad.

Similar to Dave Hansens response... I had an issue because the HWH red light was on but when I turned off the "Level" sequence and pushed the "Travel Mode" the red light went out and the bedroom slide would retract. It shouldn't have gone out with the red light (severe grade) was on.
