Just wanted to give an update, since Acc Warranty is not going to pay Premier Motor Coach Services in Tucson for the authorized work order. I went over To Premier and paid them in full, for the work that was done on my coach. No reason to have them not get paid for their services. We won't see them accepting any more service work from Acc Warranty group.

Jim,

They have a Face Book page, you could go there and share your story, on that page they have the following announcement so if you are going to be in Quartsite then you could see them face to face.

EXTENDED WARRANTY

We noticed that we had some sort of engine leak, I mentioned it to the tech at CC in Junction City. He informed me that the Warranty people wanted a dye run thru the engine, to determined where the leak was. I decided to take it to Cummins however, the center in Roseville CA, said they could not do this, They suggested I take it to Bakersfield CA, which I did. The bill was around $2500 and I paid about half. I was talking to someone else and they informed me that I should have called the Warranty people directly, after the fact to make sure what really went on. Went I bought the policy, it was in the event of something major happening, like the engine falling out. Did I pay to much, most likely. If you try to trade it in, it will probably cost more.

Haven't heard of U.S. Warranty... I will be interested to hear from other forum members on the topic. Our easycare warranty expires in April and we are thinking about renewing. I was going to do some research, make some calls and compare coverage and price between some of the other recommendations from past forum posts... in addition to Easycare this is what I have collected (in no particular order)

Wholesale Warranties
Good Sam

XTRA Ride (out of Minnesota)
US Warranty Corp

American Guardian Warranty

ACC Warranty got the thumbs down!

Someone else did recommend Easycare: "We purchased an Easy Care Policy from Eric Olstrom in Tucson for about $3000 less than we were quoted by Holland Motors for the same policy." he's with Premier Motor Coach Services, Inc. http://premiermcs.com
so that is definitely worth checking into. We have been reasonably happy with our Easycare coverage which came with the coach when we bought it 1.5 years ago. We have had several occasions to invoke it in the 8000 miles or so that we have driven the coach since we bought it with 16K on the odometer. And they were decent to work with... but the shop is part of the equation... they often have to fight with the warranty people on your behalf. Premier in Junction City has been very good about that.

Eric is real good, and I was very recently there and I will go back. I talk to a Joseph there and he seemed to be there guy. Other people have had one guy on here who has been a con artist, in Minnesota?

We bought an extended warranty from United Service Protection Corporation when we bought our 2005 Country Coach new. The price was $5,541 for a term of 84 months or 75,000 miles. We probably recovered our investment and more. The most expensive repairs we had done under warranty was when we had to replace out badly leaking factory installed aluminum radiator with a more expensive heavy duty radiator. United Service agreed to pay for a like replacement, but would not pay for the upgrade. We ended up paying about half the cost of our new $6,000 radiator.

We used the warranty several times during its term, and I suppose our assessment is that it was worth the money paid.

I googled ""United Service Protection Corporation" and didn't come up with much... one was a link to www.serviceprotectionadvantage.com which is strictly for appliances... and others to USAA which is my auto insurance company and offers extended warranties for cars but not RV's. I presume you bought this thru a dealer back in 05, Gary. Maybe they are not there any more?

You may be right about them being out of business. Their phone number is 800-811-0584 if you want to try that.

Our warranty with them is expired, so we haven't dealt with them in some time. It expired just before we had to replace our transmission selector panel for around $800. We were in a very tight situation when we couldn't get the coach into reverse. Managed to go forward, but took out a couple of tree limbs.

We did purchase this warranty as part of the deal when we bought our coach from Beaudry here in Tucson.

Good luck to ya,

Gary Collins
