Affinity water pump

Yahoo Message Number: 92660
Good day you all. I am trying to run down the fuse or a terminal connection on our 06 Affinity. The water pump will kick on now but may not next time we need the demand it has done this about 4 times over a 10 period.. With my limited knowledge it appears that there is a grounding problem.
You would think with 20-30 Schematics on board one would have the fuse connection location but i have exhausted the info to no avail.
Thanks for any information.

Have you checked to see if there is an inline fuse at the water pump?

My water pump fuse is in the "domestic" fuse box in the last bay on the passenger side. It is a 20 AMP fuse and is mislabeled, but I can't recall the name. Others have had the same problem. Look for a blown 20 AMP fuse in the domestic fuse box.

Thanks for the reply on the water pump. There is not a inline fuse in the bay where pump is located and the pump does work when it wants to so it isnt blown. I turned pump on today and the pump light came on for a brief period and then began to dim. At that time i heard a sound coming from the electrical bay under drivers seat. When pump light dimmed out the sound in bay stopped. I think there must be a terminal connection in there but do not see a label that matches.
Any other suggestion folks

There should be a latching relay in the system . The relay allows multiple switches to control the single water pump. My relay is located behind my central controller panel ( panel that allows battery health , water tank levels , propane level) I have seen the relay located next to the pump also. The name on the relay is Intelitec. I had to change this relay for similar issue. Hope this helps
