Stuff Wanted/Needed

We are thinking of replacing the current dome TV antenna with a new dish type antenna. I have already had to replace the Sat boxes with a newer style and as technology improves, things are getting smaller. I now have a medium size hole in the cabinet facing material and a much smaller TV box. they also showed me the newer much smaller Sat aligning box that will be replaced. Being a little anal, I hate the way it will look.
Does anyone here know where I can find and/or order those plastic covers that covers up the equipment?. I have googled and looked several times and it seems that I need to order twice to three times as much as I need. Thanks,
Dave

Talk to Travis House (SA) to get to Don at Temecula Valley RV.....they did a great job on our A/V system.

Dave ,

Try Paragon Plastics in your Area. On McFadden Avenue just east of I-55 in the Orange-Tustin Santa Ana Area. Will cut to size and also has a large inventory of Scrap pieces that may work for you. Good luck.

On my current coach they used metal with holes in it as it aids in the ventilation. It looks like a good idea over our previous coach that had tight fitting plastic. The metal is painted black and looks clean.

I cut my own. I get plexus glass from local home center, router out the holes and spray the back of the plexiglass black. Looks as good as one original.

Dave,

Another source that can do all of what you talked about, is Temecula Valley RV. We've had them make some modifications to our cabinets with great results. They also did my full Magnum swap over to the 2800 Pure Sine Wave. And finally a very nice job on installing our full solar panel system. Great attention to detail, and I had consistent communication from those involved. (Even the actual tech working on one segment, called to be sure he knew exactly what I wanted. He made some great suggestions, and I did alter what i wanted on two out of three of his suggestions.)

If you'd like to try and do the new black plastic trim yourself. look to see if you have a Ridout Plastics in your area, or call one and tell them what you need and they'd probably ship it to you.

Best of luck,
Smitty

I started my earlier post, and then stopped to talk on the phone before posting it, Kevin posted in between. Free is always better:)! And good to start a relationship with Kevin.
