Hello,

We are in Casa Grande AZ, halfway between Phoenix and Tucson. We have no 12 volt house power.  We have a dead chassis battery and trying to start the coach and pressing the battery boost it seemed to trip everything. So we have no lights, toilet, ability to pull in slides...

Any ideas?

Did you try to start your generator? If it does start, what are gauges saying about battery status? Have you checked both the Chassis and House battery sets for state of charge?

This happened to us last year in Livingston, LA. We called Butch Williams in Florida and were able to get the needed verbal walk through. Ended up the charger connection for the chassis batteries was disconnected. We bought new chassis batteries, charged them with an external charger,  and then put the charger on the house batteries. We have a Magnum inverter in our coach and there is a breaker switch on it that you have to reset.

Start generator to charge house battery. Then use the boost switch to start the engine. Sounds like the house battery is low also.

If cannot start generator because house battery is too low, jump the house battery, or generator battery if you have one, from a car battery with the car engine running.

Long shot, but try tapping the boost solenoid  few times with the end of a screwdriver; could be stuck.

Update: it appears to be the 200v solinoid just past the battery. A nice local service tech told us how to bypass it until we can replace it as all it does is control the total coach shutoff. If you ever need a tech in Casa Grande, Mobil RV Repairs 605-673-1955 answered his phone on Sunday and spent 10 minutes consulting and advising. He was fully booked so he couldnt come out but he got our toilet flushing until we can fix it properly.

I realize my response is late.  Identical problem occurred with me last month after I used the "boost" switch.  The problem was the 300 amp blown fuse (covered) in battery compartment.  $60 at local RV store - $33 at Amazon.  Now we carry a spare.
