Dewinterize

We bought our Coach in November, brought it home and had it winterized at the RV dealership. Now we need to dewinterize it. We have 2004 Allure with a hydrohot. We are confused. Do we actually have a hot water tank? This is all so different from our old fifth wheel. Do we just fill up the water tank and run out the antifreeze by turning on all of the faucets. Also, install the water filter.  And, run the icemaker to clear out the antifreeze there.

We have the manuals but we're just not sure of what we should do. We hate to take it to the dealership to do something that should be pretty simple. I guess what we're asking is there anything the dealer would have done that has to be undone - (like disconnect something) that we don't know about.

We're planning to use the coach this weekend and it would be nice to have hot running water!

Living in the Bay Area, we never have need to winterize, so I know nothing about that issue.  However, you do have hot water, courtesy of the HydroHot.  (Nominally) instant hot water.  Coming out of storage, if your batteries have not been kept charged, you will need to reset the low voltage switch on its control panel.  Not easy to read, but it is in the center at the top of the panel.  Just use something like a skewer and push in gently.  Do not use metal.  If you have left the diesel switch on before you do this, it should fire right up (unless it's been working all winter, burning your fuel).

Kevin Waite put in a new third brake light, otherwise all others are as when delivered new.

Thanks for all of the advice. Yes, the hydrohot is working. We had it serviced and then had a low voltage issue. Our RV guy had us break off a Qtip which we used to reset it. The water is good. It is even hot! Now - one more question. How do I get the icemaker to start up? The fridge is on and getting cold. The water tank is full and the pump is on. The arm is down on the icemaker which I believe is the correct position.

I have looked through our manuals but can't find any info regarding the icemaker. We had the unit winterized at the RV dealership. Not sure if there is something else that needs to be done to the fridge.
